Indianapolis, IN: August 14, 2008 – Zing Restaurant, located at
543 Indiana Avenue, serves small plate dishes that are designed for
sharing among friends and are brought to the table steadily and
continuously throughout the meal.
Zing’s Chef, Richard Larsen, will feature his favorite
preparations of interesting fare, filled with extraordinary flavors.
Menu items include spicy calamari, grilled lamb chops, pepper seared
ahi tuna, roasted beef and signature pizza-ettes - just to name a
few.
“Dining at Zing is a social event, especially made for sharing
and having fun,” said Zing’s owner Mark Jacobs. He continued, “We
encourage our guests to try a variety of entrees to experience an
array of robust and intense flavors.”
The restaurants’ ribbon cutting ceremony will be held on
Wednesday, August 27 at 6:30 PM and include hors d'oeuvres and
cocktails. Don Fisher and experienced restaurateurs Mark Jacobs and
John Perazzo would like to invite everyone who made this restaurant
possible, to share in the celebration.

543 Indiana Avenue has housed a number of businesses dating back
to the early 1900’s including a restaurant in 1914, a barber shop in
1930, and a number of grocery stores from the 1940s – 1960s. In
1970, Maxine’s Chateau Beauty Shop was a tenant, as was Payton’s
Place in the early 2000’s. The building’s revamped color scheme and
new wrap around balcony are among the latest improvements for the
grand opening of Zing.
