Rainmakers Adds New Columbus IN Networking Event
Association's 4th Luncheon Launches January 9th at Columbus

Indianapolis, IN: December 2, 2008 – Rainmakers,
Indianapolis’ fastest growing business association, announced the
addition of a second event in Columbus. The event will be held on
January 9th, 2009 from 11:30 am to 1 pm at the Comfort Inn on 2485
Jonathan Moore Pike in Columbus. This new event gives Rainmaker
members in Columbus a second opportunity to make business
connections.
“The Columbus Lunch will be the fourth lunch for the
organization,” said Jim Doering, Vice President of Rainmakers South.
“These events are extremely popular with members who drive longer
distances to attend the event. We expect many of our members from
Bloomington, and southern Indianapolis to become regulars for this
event.”
Led by Leah Jackman-Wheitner, Ph.D. of Life Designs Concepts, the
new Columbus advisory board members will serve a two-year term,
providing advice and feedback to the Rainmaker management team. In
addition, they will be responsible for involving guests and new
members in the organization and building awareness in the local
community.
The advisory board represents the broad range of industries which
reflect Rainmakers’ general membership. Advisory board members
include Mark Chester, TownPlanner Community Calendar; Al Barnett,
The Office Shop; Alesha Neal, PMI Staffing; John Wischmeier,
Century21 Breeden Realtors; Vickie Hildreth, A Better Cut; Trish

The new Columbus advisory board will be responsible for
coordinating the activities of the Columbus Lunch event to be held
the first Friday of every month from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm. The
meetings will be held at the Comfort Inn on 2485 Jonathan Moore Pike
located at the intersection of State Road 46 and I-65 in Columbus.
