Indianapolis, IN: October 13, 2008 – The Network of Women in Business, Indianapolis’ oldest and largest locally based women’s organization, is pleased to announce the recipients of their prestigious 2008 Businesswoman of the Year, Mentor of the Year and Woman to Watch Awards. Santina Sullivan of Sullivan Consulting was named 2008 Mentor of the Year, Mary Jo Gremling of eLucida Imaging was named the 2008 Businesswoman of the Year and Colleen Fanning was named Woman to Watch. The awards were presented at the Network of Women in Business’ 5th annual Gala held at the Ritz Charles in Carmel on Thursday, September 18, 2008.

Businesswoman of the Year recognizes an exceptional woman who has achieved prominence and success in the business community and owns, founded or is currently involved in running the business. She demonstrates leadership within the organization and shows accomplishment and evidence of “needle-moving,” obstacles overcome, innovations or discoveries made, and is an active member of her community.

Mary Jo Gremling is the president and CEO of eLucida Imaging, a document imaging and document management company established in 2003. She graduated from Mercy Hospital School of Nursing in Toledo. eLucida Imaging serves clients across the US and is based in Indianapolis. Their client base comprises a wide range of businesses, including real estate, mortgage and title, healthcare, legal, accounting, manufacturing, education, automotive, local government, and non-profits. eLucida Imaging is certified as a WBE (Women-owned Business Enterprise) by the State of Indiana and the City of Indianapolis.

Mentor of the Year recognizes an outstanding woman who has served as a guiding light for another professional woman, who has demonstrated positive influence over the careers of others and offers experience, guidance and coaching to serve as a role model.

Santina Sullivan mentors young women in Indianapolis who seek her advice on community involvement, marketing and career advancement. Sullivan has served a youth mentor for Starfish and currently recruits mentors for the Common Goal initiative of the Greater Indianapolis Chamber of Commerce. Sullivan has served on the CYO and Girls Inc. board of directors and has raised over half a million dollars for Cathedral High School’s Shamrauction. A graduate of Purdue University, Santina Sullivan is the founder of Sullivan Consulting, an Indianapolis marketing and research consulting agency, focused on developing strategic plans and marketing strategies, analyzing markets, generating creative and putting critical projects into action.

Woman to Watch recognizes a visionary woman who is charting new territory, and has positively influenced and inspired other business women, and demonstrates ability to continue to do so into the future.

Colleen Fanning is the owner and Executive Director of the Brick Street Inn/Lobby Lounge and is a graduate of Emory University in Atlanta, Georgia. In 2002, the Fanning family purchased the bed and breakfast on Zionsville’s main street; Colleen acquired the in 2006. Since that time, she has implemented major changes at the Brick Street Inn, one of which is the Lobby Lounge which opened in April of this year, a swanky, chic locale for cocktails, tapas and dessert. Her vision, passion and business savvy have brought new life to the family business. Colleen is also extremely active in her community and serves on the board of the Zionsville Chamber of Commerce.
