Indianapolis, IN: January 4, 2009 - Roundpeg, an Indianapolis based small business marketing firm, announced that Kristen Horton has joined the organization as a public relations intern.

In this capacity Kristen will work with Roundpeg’s clients, developing and distributing press releases and overseeing both faculty and student communications for Rainmaker University. She will also be responsible for researching events for the popular Roundpeg Calendar.

“We are excited to have Kristen join our team.” said Lorraine Ball, founder of Roundpeg. “She has done some exceptional work while she was a student, and we are looking forward to the contributions she will make as part of our team.

About Kristen Horton:
Kristen graduated from California State University, Palm Desert with a BA in communications and a minor in public relations. Prior to joining Roundpeg she worked as an associate producer and public relations intern on a Southern California talk show.

She also worked as a pr and marketing consultant for Global Dental Concepts Inc., Coaching to Vision, and the 2008 Indy A-List “best tanning salon,” Earthtone Tanning.

While in school, Kristen was also involved in many organizations including the American Association of University Women, the Junior League, and Court Appointed Special Advocates.

Kristen currently lives on the south-side of Indianapolis.
