Muncie, IN: January 8, 2009 – Celebrating the beginning of its 20th year in business during 2009, DELTEC Information Solutions announces the introduction of a new President and CEO. DELTEC has a long history of success under the leadership of Scott Jordan and is poised for aggressive growth and expansion. “Anyone that has been in an entrepreneurial founder’s role for a period of time can attest that it can be a lonely place. The appointment of a new President and CEO will provide additional expertise and support as we continue to move the company forward successfully,” stated Scott Jordan, DELTEC’s founder.

Don Engel joined the executive team as President and CEO on December 8, 2008. Mr. Engel has an extensive background in executive management, serving as CFO of a hospital in Illinois for many years, COO and CFO for another healthcare provider in Ohio, professor in the MBA program at Anderson University, and most recently serving as general counsel for Ontario Systems in Muncie.

Scott Jordan will assume the role of Founder and Chief Technology Officer. Scott has led the company since its inception in 1990. “My vision has always been to make DELTEC the premier small business resource for technology, business intelligence, and security services in the region and beyond,” commented Jordan. “With Don on board, we have an opportunity to leverage an exceptional talent to take the organization to the next level. His expertise in business operations will allow me to focus more on strategic relationships as well as product development and marketing functions. It is truly an exciting time for DELTEC-- the beginning of a new era for us and our clients.”
