Indianapolis, IN: January 8, 2009 – With the start of the New Year, many businesses are even more concerned about how best to continue to weather the current downed economic climate. The practice of networking to increase sales is making more sense than ever these days.

Unique3 is Indianapolis’ newest networking concept that takes away the barriers of making that next sale. It is a permission-based practice that blends café style meeting places and business marketing places together.

“Especially during these tough times, businesses need to work smarter. Why not take these idle times when you are just sitting in a restaurant and turn these down times into productive times?” says Susan Robertson, founder of Unique3.

“Unique3 is a center connector between two businesses, making a three-way connection. A chord of three is strong and not easily broken.”

The Unique3 logo (U3) expresses a faith-based meaning, reflecting Robertson’s ultimate goal to help people be the best they can be. She is no stranger to the power of making connections with others. Robertson created the Unique3 concept as a way to make networking faster, easier and more productive.

According to Ron Sukenick, Unique3’s chief relationship officer, networking is not what it used to be in the 70’s, 80’s and even the 90’s. Sukenick says today’s networking doesn’t have to be done at a certain place and time.

“Unique3 allows you to network everywhere you want to be,” he adds.

U3 members are also afforded additional benefits to help generate sales. Membership includes participating in other marketing events, access to business listings on the U3 website, invitations to informal U3 gatherings, newsletters and other incentive from U3 members. Unique3 is planned to become a nationwide networking practice.

A Unique3 Pre-launch party is being held on Wednesday, January 14 between 6-7:30 pm at Morty’s Comedy Joint at 3625 E. 96th Street in Indianapolis. The media and the public are invited to attend this Unique3 event. Free appetizers and free admission to Morty’s Comedy Joint show after the presentation. (Two drink minimum)
