Even if you don’t make presentations on a regular basis, you most certainly present. That’s right – everybody presents at one time or another. You present to team members, clients, your employees and others. Because most of us hate to make presentations, when we make them they’re not very good. Fortunately, public speaking is an attainable skill.
According to our Director of Training and Development, Tommy Richardson, you can learn to love public speaking as much as he does if you take the time to prepare yourself properly. If you want to be proactive about developing your communication skills, consider attending Rainmakers Toastmasters Guest Day on September 30, 2015 from 7:45 a.m to 9:00 a.m.
Toastmasters is a non-profit educational organization that teaches public speaking and leadership skills. Rainmakers has an organized Toastmasters group that meets every Wednesday. The purpose of the group is to enhance speaking/presentation skills in a safe environment.
