Downtown Rainmakers Event

Downtown Rainmakers is a quarterly event for professionals, executives and business owners whose market place and/or related activities has a center of commerce from the downtown area. This event features top city leaders and business people with influence in the Indianapolis business community. Extend your professional network, meet others who focus on the downtown marketplace, learn from knowledgeable guest speakers, and participate in the ever changing business landscape of Indianapolis!


November Topic:
Jazzin Up Indianapolis’ Economic Strategy 
This event will be a discussion of the Music Strategy project for the Indy Chamber, which will study the economy and ecology of Indianapolis’s music scene and bring together businesses, artists and other stakeholders from around the region to form a cohesive music strategy.

Regulatory & Permitting Ombudsman at Indy Chamber

Jim has been a part of the Develop Indy team at the Indy Chamber since 2015, serving as the Regulatory and Permitting Ombudsman. This position is a partnership between the Indy Chamber and the City of Indianapolis, helping businesses get through the regulatory process quickly and efficiently, as well as helping City administration better understand and respond to the needs of businesses.

Musical Family Tree is a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization with the mission of Spreading Indiana Music.  By serving Indiana’s music communities, MFT aims to help build a more sustainable and world-recognized music scene in Indiana.   We accomplish this by preserving, documenting, and promoting Indiana music, past and present.
