SUMMARY:Eat + Drink
DESCRIPTION:Rainmakers Eat + Drink is our monthly social event. We travel all around the city to experience Indy’s best independent restaurant establishments.  Everyone welcome! Bring a friend or colleague and participate in a relaxed networking environment while enjoying the great tastes of Indy. \n  \nJoin us in January for wine tasting \nat Sugar Creek Winery! \n  \nJoin us for this unique wine tasting. You will receive 5 one-ounce pours of your choice of wines for $8. Appetizers will be provided by Rainmakers. \n  \n \nNote: We’re responsible for finding a great restaurant! You’re responsible for your food and drink! \nLet’s support a local restaurant\, get to know other folks\, and have great food and beverages all at the same time! \n  \nMore About Sugar Creek Winery: \nSugar Creek is a clear running tributary stream of the Wabash River which travels in a generally northeast to southwest direction as it cuts across west-central Indiana. The source lies in Tipton County\, Indiana and the entire river length to the Wabash confluence is approximately 90 miles. Sugar Creek is one of Indiana’s best canoeing rivers. There is a lot of use of the river in June\, July and August….especially on the weekends. \nEarly Indians named the stream after seeing the many sugar maple trees in the area. Because of its swift water\, Sugar Creek was important to the early pioneers as a source of power. It may not be Indiana’s fastest nor is it our most challenging canoe water\, but it is generally conceded to be the most beautiful stream in the State. An added attraction in the area is the many covered bridges over Sugar Creek and other streams in the area. It borders much of the Cain Family Farm. \nIn late 2010\, a vineyard site was selected for its slow\, flowing topography\, highway access\, and water well on site. It is located in the northeast corner of Montgomery County\, Indiana. \n  \nTHANK YOU to Our Sponsor: \n \nNathan Pfahler \nwith Weichert Realtors for sponsoring Rainmakers Eat + Drink! \nI am happily married to Jennifer Pfahler and we have 2 young boys who are fun and active! I have been a licensed REALTOR since 2005\, started the real estate team of The Pfahler Group\, in 2012\, and have owned my own brokerage since 2018\, purchasing the Weichert Franchise towards the end of 2019. To date\, I’ve been involved in over 700 real estate transactions and am pumped to think about how many families and individuals that means we have helped in their journey to homeownership! \nMy family and I reside in Brownsburg\, IN where we are involved in various school\, church\, and community activities! I am excited to lead a great team and a great brokerage! We would be honored to assist you in your residential or commercial needs. \n

Your relationship with yourself affects your relationships with others.  Loneliness is as deadly as smoking 15 cigarettes a day and people who are lonely have a 50% higher chance of dying prematurely than those who have healthy relationships.\n\nHow are you relating to yourself and how are you relating to others (in business and in your personal life)?  \nAre you able to love you?  \nAre you able to love others?\n\n\nOur Speaker: \n \nLisa Treadwell \nRealtor/SRES/CSHP/NASMM \nwww.downsizingIndy.com \nI’m an Army Veteran turned REALTOR®️ in spite of (or maybe b/c of) a lot of other stuff that happened in between.  Instead of serving my country\, now I serve senior citizens by helping them downsize into low or no maintenance living environments.  My experience in the United States Army taught me the attention of detail and the importance of systems and processes that it takes to own a business.  God\, family\, and business are the most important things in my life (in that order).  I believe in the power of healthy relationships and the need for many more of them.  \nFind Lisa on social media: Facebook | Instagram | LinkedIn | Twitter

SUMMARY:Take Your Networking To The Next Level
DESCRIPTION:Networking is probably the most effective and least expensive marketing method you can use to build your business or practice.   If you struggle with approaching other business professionals and finding the right things to say\, it may be because you don’t yet know how to network.  Effective networking requires particular skills\, and most people aren’t born knowing the best ways to build meaningful connections with other entrepreneurs.
