SUMMARY:The Distinct Advantage of Video
DESCRIPTION:May Topic: It’s Go Time: Best Practices for Filming Effective (and Interesting) Videos \nAs early as 2016 Mark Zuckerberg was saying that we were entering the “new golden age of video online.” Right now over 80% of all internet traffic is video-centric\, so it’s safe to say that he was right. People have clearly shown their preference for video-based communication\, but most salespeople are still reliant on tired old technologies and strategies that have lost their effectiveness. Let’s talk about what’s working today!\n\nYou will learn:\n\nHow to prepare for shooting your first video\nWhat equipment/software works best\nWhat to say *and what NOT to say”\nHow long different styles of videos should be\nHow to make our videos interesting and useful\n\n  \nOur Facilitator: \n \nDavid Inman \nDavid Inman is the Director of Development at Kennected and leads conversations across the country surrounding sales technology. As an avid reader and a firm believer in the scientific method\, he has always pushed past conventional boundaries. From monthly science experiments that he runs with his four children to his ever-growing “Idea Journal” and even Rejection Bingo (believe me\, it is worth asking about)\, he is constantly searching for ways to improve. David is also a self-proclaimed “sales nerd” who has a passion for finding innovative ideas that disrupt the market. \nToday\, that innovation includes something as simple as talking to a camera. \nDid you know that right now only about 6% of salespeople are regularly using personalized video in their prospecting cadence? That means that most people\, probably including you\, are still typing the same text-only messages that were used twenty years ago. It’s no wonder that most emails go unread\, unresponded\, and un-noticed. \nOver the past year\, David has taught nearly 2000 people how to improve their prospecting\, client retention\, and even inner-office communication using video. Video should be an essential part of every business plan for 2021.

SUMMARY:Eat + Drink
DESCRIPTION:Rainmakers Eat + Drink is our monthly social event. We travel all around the city to experience Indy’s best independent restaurant establishments.  Everyone welcome! Bring a friend or colleague and participate in a relaxed networking environment while enjoying the great tastes of Indy. \n  \nJoin us in April at Peace Water Winery! \n \n  \nAbout Peace Water Winery: \n\n\n\n\nMy wife Laura is the kindest person I know. Somehow she has enough love in her heart to raise eight children\, three dogs\, two horses\, two cats and even an orphaned cow. Despite all the organized chaos\, she still finds a way to think of others… whether it is volunteering at schools\, running a soup kitchen\, or just practicing random acts of kindness. \nIt was a typical crazy weekend (six basketball games\, four soccer matches\, and an equestrian event) spent scrambling from one place to another in our 1966\, 21-window Volkswagen “hippie van.” We squeezed in a stop at our local Starbucks drive-thru and\, as was her tradition\, Laura paid for the double chocolate chip frappuccino the car behind us had ordered. The kids all smiled as they watched the joyous reaction of the lucky recipient. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThat’s when I realized we needed to do something more. What better way to do it than to share great wine with you! If the simple act of buying a stranger a cup of coffee can make someone’s day\, what can happen if we really set our minds to making a difference. \nSo while our family is large\, our vision is larger. We truly believe the smallest act of kindness has a ripple effect that can help change the world. 50% of our net profits will be donated to charity\, both locally and across the world. Enjoy our wine knowing every sip is helping make this world a better place! \n– PEACE OUT! Scott & Laura Burton & Family \n\n\n\n\n \n \n  \nNote: We’re responsible for finding a great restaurant! You’re responsible for your food and drink! \nLet’s support a local restaurant\, get to know other folks\, and have great food and beverages all at the same time! \n  \n  \nTHANK YOU to Our Sponsor: \n \nNathan Pfahler \nwith Weichert Realtors for sponsoring Rainmakers Eat + Drink! \nI am happily married to Jennifer Pfahler and we have 2 young boys who are fun and active! I have been a licensed REALTOR since 2005\, started the real estate team of The Pfahler Group\, in 2012\, and have owned my own brokerage since 2018\, purchasing the Weichert Franchise towards the end of 2019. To date\, I’ve been involved in over 700 real estate transactions and am pumped to think about how many families and individuals that means we have helped in their journey to homeownership! \nMy family and I reside in Brownsburg\, IN where we are involved in various school\, church\, and community activities! I am excited to lead a great team and a great brokerage! We would be honored to assist you in your residential or commercial needs. \n

SUMMARY:The Distinct Advantage of Video
DESCRIPTION:Video is one of the largest gaps (and opportunities) in business today. It has the potential to enhance communication with prospects\, clients\, and co-workers as well as greatly improve prospecting results. You might be wondering why less than 6% of salespeople and businesses are effectively utilizing video right now. That’s a question I’ve asked hundreds of people and typically the answer is simple – they don’t know how to get started. \n  \nFebruary Topic: The Basics: Video Technology\, Set-up\, and Tools \nIn this session\, we will cover all the basics needed to seamlessly and easily integrate video into your current process. \n\n\nLearn what technology platforms make video easiest to create and share\nExplore what equipment makes sense to invest in and what’s not worth your money (at least early on using video)\nFind proven best practices for making better videos\n\n\n  \nOur Facilitator: \n \nDavid Inman \nDavid Inman is the Director of Development at Kennected and leads conversations across the country surrounding sales technology.
