SUMMARY:Eat + Drink
DESCRIPTION:Rainmakers Eat + Drink is our monthly social event. We travel all around the city to experience Indy’s best independent restaurant establishments.  Everyone welcome! Bring a friend or colleague and participate in a relaxed networking environment while enjoying the great tastes of Indy. \n  \nJoin us in April at Peace Water Winery! \n \n  \nAbout Peace Water Winery: \n\n\n\n\nMy wife Laura is the kindest person I know. Somehow she has enough love in her heart to raise eight children\, three dogs\, two horses\, two cats and even an orphaned cow. Despite all the organized chaos\, she still finds a way to think of others… whether it is volunteering at schools\, running a soup kitchen\, or just practicing random acts of kindness. \nIt was a typical crazy weekend (six basketball games\, four soccer matches\, and an equestrian event) spent scrambling from one place to another in our 1966\, 21-window Volkswagen “hippie van.” We squeezed in a stop at our local Starbucks drive-thru and\, as was her tradition\, Laura paid for the double chocolate chip frappuccino the car behind us had ordered. The kids all smiled as they watched the joyous reaction of the lucky recipient. \n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\nThat’s when I realized we needed to do something more. What better way to do it than to share great wine with you! If the simple act of buying a stranger a cup of coffee can make someone’s day\, what can happen if we really set our minds to making a difference. \nSo while our family is large\, our vision is larger. We truly believe the smallest act of kindness has a ripple effect that can help change the world. 50% of our net profits will be donated to charity\, both locally and across the world. Enjoy our wine knowing every sip is helping make this world a better place! \n– PEACE OUT! Scott & Laura Burton & Family \n\n\n\n\n \n \n  \nNote: We’re responsible for finding a great restaurant! You’re responsible for your food and drink! \nLet’s support a local restaurant\, get to know other folks\, and have great food and beverages all at the same time! \n  \n  \nTHANK YOU to Our Sponsor: \n \nNathan Pfahler \nwith Weichert Realtors for sponsoring Rainmakers Eat + Drink! \nI am happily married to Jennifer Pfahler and we have 2 young boys who are fun and active! I have been a licensed REALTOR since 2005\, started the real estate team of The Pfahler Group\, in 2012\, and have owned my own brokerage since 2018\, purchasing the Weichert Franchise towards the end of 2019. To date\, I’ve been involved in over 700 real estate transactions and am pumped to think about how many families and individuals that means we have helped in their journey to homeownership! \nMy family and I reside in Brownsburg\, IN where we are involved in various school\, church\, and community activities! I am excited to lead a great team and a great brokerage! We would be honored to assist you in your residential or commercial needs. \n
