Nancy Sunshine

Nancy’s involvement with Rainmakers spans several years.  She has served various companies in executive level sales positions over the years and has worked the Rainmakers platform successfully to create winning business development results. Nancy has served and continues to serve as a Rainmakers board member. Passionate about helping members succeed, Nancy guides them on how to leverage their membership so they, too, can experience the gains she has made. Nikki Lewallen


Nikki Lewallen is an accomplished business development professional, speaker and philanthropist. As CEO of Rainmakers, Nikki supports the Indiana business community by providing a platform for authentic business growth. A natural connector of people, Nikki’s expertise in business development enables her to find and nurture strategic relationships that result in meaningful business outcomes. Under her leadership, Rainmakers is one of the premiere business networking organizations in Indianapolis and serves an average of 1200 members per year.

As reflected in her leadership style, Nikki is an avid proponent of robust company culture. She believes that for people to succeed in business and life, it is necessary for them to love what they do. It is this passion for employee engagement that led Nikki to join Emplify, a company devoted to helping millions of people find meaning in their work. Nikki works nationally alongside CEOs, Presidents and key executives to build employee engagement strategy by partnering with their human capital consultants.

Nikki is the show host for Gut + Science, a podcast that convenes key leaders across the nation to solve innovate on the talent hurdles of today’s world. Guests vary from CEOs of enterprise organizations to key executives of purpose led small businesses. The idea of Gut + Science is to learn the best HR tools and strategies that have proven results (and what doesn’t work).

Nikki holds a variety of non profit board positions around Indianapolis including Thrivent Financial and Purposeful Living INC. Rainmakers, as an organization, has committed to featuring local nonprofits at every event. Nikki believes that we all want to give back and Rainmakers is committed to making it easier for people by being a platform to connect them and get them involved with a charity the pulls on their heart.

Tommy Richardson
Director of Training and Development

Tommy will be responsible for the Leadership development within the Rainmakers organization and Leadership and Personal Development training for executives, employee groups and members.

Tommy has more than 40 years experience in business coaching, training, and athletic coaching. He has coached more than 1,000 individuals and teams and facilitated training for corporate teams and executives and is a former president of Toastmasters, International.

Ashley Young
Digital Marketing Specialist

As the Digital Marketing Specialist for Rainmakers, Ashley works closely with the other team members to ensure that members stay up to date and informed with the numerous Rainmakers events.

She is a graduate of Asbury University with studies in photography and graphic design.

She loves the eccentric and mysterious things in life, believing it brings the personality and identity of its person, location, or situation.

Karen Wilczewski
Communications Coordinator

As a writer and editor, Karen Wilczewski has a passion for words. She works with Rainmakers to craft its message on social media and works with members looking to market their business. Though she writes LinkedIn profiles, website copy, blogs, and crafts resumes for clients, she’s ardent about medical and health care topics.

Prior to her affiliation with Rainmakers, Karen worked in public relations for a local hospital and spent 15 years writing, editing, and coordinating the design of publications for two statewide associations.

Karen has also authored a book on the state’s only osteopathic hospital and has edited a broad range of articles and publications, including Operative Dentistry, a peer-reviewed international dental journal. In addition, she loves working with professionals where English is not their native language.

Karen is an Indiana University graduate and has a B.A. in Journalism and a Certification in Editing.
