Rainmakers ConnectTech is a premier monthly event that brings together Indy’s technology influencers in a social atmosphere to learn from an accomplished industry leader. We are excited to announce our new venue sponsor for ConnectTech, Eleven Fifty Academy!
The Eleven Fifty Academy is a nonprofit that serves the community by offering immersive learning in popular programming languages like Python, Ruby and JavaScript. Recognizing a shortage of coding talent, the organization’s mission is “to create an ecosystem of coding talent that benefits the individual, their employer and their community.” Some of the very best instructors teach at this facility and it’s open to coders and non-coders alike.
An intriguing part of Eleven Fifty Academy is the facility itself. The venue is a 30,000 square foot mansion, owned by serial entrepreneur and inventor, Scott Jones. There seems to be a synergistic relationship between our ConnectTech event and Eleven Fifty. Many Rainmakers members are short on help to fulfill coding projects, while others are limited on skills and need training. Eleven Fifty will be a great resource for ConnectTech’s attendees.
