Since December of 2014, Kyle DeFur has served as the President of a unique Indianapolis-based start-up organization named, trueU. trueU is part of a movement of businesses who believe the way to grow your business is through the growth your people. A membership-based leadership development organization, it provides a proven platform of programs, tools, resources, and relationships designed to help team members become leaders at home, in the community, and at work.
Prior to leading trueU, Kyle served in hospital administration for over 25 years. He most recently served for 7 years as the President of St.Vincent Indianapolis Hospital. In this role he led all operations for this 950 bed, $1.3 billion healthcare organization with over 5,500 employees and 1,500 physicians. Leadership responsibility included St.Vincent Indianapolis Hospital, St.Vincent Women’s Hospital, St.Vincent Stress Center, Seton Specialty Hospitals and Peyton Manning Children’s Hospital at St.Vincent. During his tenure the Hospital received a number of awards including being named by U.S. News and World Report as one of “America’s Best Hospitals” and as a “Top 50 Hospitals in the Country” by Becker’s Hospital Review.This is a recurring event happening monthly every 4th Tuesday.
