Ben Herndon, owner of Orange Bench Technology is not shy about the impact Rainmakers has had on his business. Providing IT support including servers, desktops, peripherals, smart phone synchronization and more, Ben was always technically savvy – but very new to business two and a half years ago.

“I didn’t know what I was doing when it came to getting new business,” Ben said. “Rainmakers taught me how to grow my business by teaching me how to network and meet the people that would help me get business.”

Ben used his membership well, attending as many events as he could and he began to make connections with businesses that were ready to outsource their IT needs to Orange Bench. Now Ben says that more than half of his current business has come through Rainmakers.

“I don’t know if I would be in business today if it hadn’t been for Rainmakers.”

As Ben continues to grow, he is more focused on larger clients – 30-50 employees with multiple in-house servers. These size companies are his sweet spot. Rainmakers allowed him to get to this point and he hopes it will continue to help him grow to the next level.
