October Speaker: Jan Long, Owner, The Mr. Canary Company
The Mr. Canary Company sells wild bird feeding products throughout the U.S via e-commerce and mass merchants. The company is based in Carmel, Indiana and has been in business since 1995.
Before her entrepreneurial pursuits with The Canary Company, Jan came from a varied business background including her experience as the original Director of the Office of Guardian Ad Litem/Court Appointed Special Advocate (GAL/CASA) which she established for the Indiana Supreme Court.
Among volunteer her commitments, Jan worked with Marion County GAL/CASA, Carmel Schools, St. Vincent Hospitals and The Indianapolis Junior League. She is currently on the Board of the Indianapolis Chapter of National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) and a member of the Wild Bird Feeding Industry.
